Corporate Operations Manager

Mel is an instructor and trainer with certifications from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), TRX, and Spinning. A reformed klutz who loves teaching fitness, Mel trains in the martial art wun hop kuen do (it was love at first kick), runs occasional trail races, engages in her worldwide mission of sharing the correct form for plank and push-ups, writes essays and fiction, and is currently working on a novel about women superheroes (when she can stay awake long enough). As a writer, she believes in the connection between a healthy body and healthy mind. As a trainer, she believes understanding your body gives you both a sense of power and a sense of peace.

Krista is comprehensively certified to teach Pilates through BASI and the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), and is also trained in pre- and post-natal Pilates. Krista studied theatre and dance at UC Berkeley and has worked in the fields of theatre arts and health education for over a decade. She believes that mind-body pursuits can transform people both mentally and physically. Her approach to fitness—and life—is to work hard, be kind and sweat regularly.

Mary has been teaching Feldenkrais and dance throughout the Bay Area for the last 20+ years. Trained as a dancer, and still active as a performer and choreographer, Feldenkrais has been a personal laboratory for studying the intersection of bodies and movement on many levels. Guiding students to discover their own path towards more aware movement - which can cause a re-centering and grounding, or simply more efficient and sophisticated execution of movements, or bring relief from pain patterns - can be life-altering, and this causes her great satisfaction! She is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner.

Molly has spent her whole life involved in fitness in one way or another. She started riding horses at the age of 3, which morphed into a passion for Equestrian Vaulting (think breakdancing and gymnastics on a horse while it runs around in a circle).

Molly was part of a team that won several national championships, and she herself holds a bronze medal. Ending her individual career with a not-too-shabby 6th place at Nationals, she went on to coach a few medal-holding vaulters, as well.

Throughout her athletic career, Molly has dabbled in basketball, soccer, swimming, diving, karate, gymnastics, lifting, running, kettle bells, pilates, and kickboxing before finding something she was as passionate about as she was with horses: yoga. Molly completed a 200-hour teacher training program, and brings variety, humor, and great music to each of her classes.

Molly has amassed more than 10,000 hours of training, teaching, working out, cooking healthy, reading books, studies, and fitness blogs. As she deepens her knowledge, she hopes to share in the wisdom and abundance that is a clean, healthy lifestyle!
